VTA Recruitment is looking for a Service Administrator to join a family-run business in Oldham, specializing in the Transport/Engineering industry. The organization operates two busy depots in Oldham and Peterlee.
Role: Working within a friendly team, the ideal candidate will deliver excellent customer service and have prior experience in the transport/vehicle industry. As an Administrator, you will oversee a team of service technicians deployed to complete maintenance work throughout the Northwest and Northeast of the country.
1. Dealing with customer enquiries via phone and email.
2. Delegating engineers to customer sites for repairs and breakdowns, and escalating jobs when necessary.
3. Completing customer reports and service logs.
4. Arranging and delegating repairs in the workshop.
5. Performing quality check services and updating records.
6. Liaising with customers to confirm breakdown costs and manage bookings.
The successful candidate must:
* Be methodical and able to work independently.
* Possess strong communication and customer service skills.
* Have a good understanding of computers and adapt to in-house software and IT systems.
* Be able to work effectively in fast-paced environments.
* Have previous experience in the industry.
