Responsibilities Enabling Heathrow’s passengers to experience the best airport service in the world, through maintaining a broad range of our tunnel assets. Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on assets. Investigating faulty or poor-performing assets, identifying improvements and implementing meaningful change to improve the airport experience. Keeping records up to date, for example, the maintenance history of our assets, to create efficiency and meet Heathrow’s regulatory requirements. Showcasing your passion for ‘doing the right thing’, by proactively spotting hazards, reducing risks, and creating a safer environment for all. Champion continuous improvement and best practice. Qualifications City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in an electrical engineering discipline. Please note a degree would not be equivalent to City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3. Full UK driving licence including the ability to obtain and maintain airside licences and permits. Strong hands-on experience, gained within an engineering environment. Analytical thinking and sound problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritise in a complex and fast-paced setting. Ideally, You Will Also Have Experience of electrical inspection and testing (City and Guilds 2391 is advantageous). Understanding of Appointed Person knowledge.
