Victoria Hospital

We are looking for a suitable applicant to assist in the delivery of Physiotherapy to our acute stroke ward at the Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy. The caseload is predominantly to patients who have experienced a stroke however there will also be a medical component to the caseload.

An SVQ Level III in health sciences or equivalent is required, together with evidence of clinical competence and skills that include treatment of patients and carrying out exercise programmes.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate an understanding of stroke and the impact that this can have on daily living.

Basic IT knowledge is required which includes word processing and use of the internet.

The ability to work as part of a team is integral to the post. We are looking for a dynamic and flexible individual whom embraces change to become part of this team.

The department is committed to a regular programme of In-service training, continuous professional development, appraisal and personal development
