Are you an Electrical Design Engineer looking to take the next step in your career? This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing building services' consultancy working on a wide variety of projects across themercial, residential, education, and public sectors.We’re looking for a motivated Intermediate Electrical Engineer with a passion for quality design, problem‑solving, and delivering smart solutions within the built environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
1. Producing electrical designs for building services projects, from concept through to detailed design
2. Working on power distribution, lighting, containment, fire alarm systems and other LV design elements
3. Supporting project leaders with coordination, calculations and documentation
4. Using industry‑standard software such as Amtech, Dialux, and Revit (experience beneficial, training provided)
5. Attending design meetings and collaborating with internal engineers, architects, and external stakeholders
6. Contributing to sustainable and energy‑efficient design solutions
What We’re Looking For
7. Current UK project experience
8. 2+ years’ experience in building services (electrical bias)
9. HNC/HND/Degree in Building Services Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
10. Knowledge of UK building regulations and relevant standards
11. Ability to work both independently and as part of a close‑knit team
12. Strongmunication skills and willingness to learn and progress
