Main duties of the job
Duties and responsibilities:
1. You will support the ongoing development of the Pre-operative assessment (POA) service ensuring safe and effective pre-operative care.
2. You will support in assessing patients health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload.
3. Assist in the delivery of care to meet the individuals health and wellbeing needs.
4. Provide and receive complex, sensitive or contentious information.
5. Develop own knowledge and skills and that of others.
6. Promote best practice in health and safety and security.
7. Assist in maintaining and developing services.

Who we're looking for:
8. Registered Adult Nurse with at least 2 years registration experience
9. Be NMC registered - your pin should not have any restrictions or conditions
10. Competence across a range of skills, supported by professional and clinical knowledge acquired through state registration.
11. Compassionate and able to showcase excellent patient care
12. Strong Assessment skills
13. Strong communication skills
14. Computer literate
15. Efficient with workload
16. Experience in Pre Assessment or a similar setting is desirable
