About Us
At Steer Commercial, part of the award-winning Steer Automotive Group, we specialise in the repair and maintenance of commercial vehicles. As our business continues to grow, we’re looking for a reliable, Driver/Valetor to join our dynamic team.
The Role
This is a varied role primarily focused on hands-on vehicle preparation and valeting, with driving and vehicle movement duties supporting the role as required. You will play a key part in ensuring vehicles are cleaned and presented to the highest standard, while also supporting safe and professional vehicle collections and deliveries when needed.
Key Responsibilities
14. Cleaning and valeting commercial vehicles to a high standard
15. Preparing vehicles for customer handover and ensuring presentation standards are consistently met
16. Supporting with the collection and delivery of customer vehicles as and when required
17. Carrying out basic vehicle checks before and after any journeys
18. Assisting with vehicle movements on site to support workflow and efficiency
19. Supporting the wider team to ensure smooth day-to-day site operations
What We’re Looking For
20. Previous valeting or vehicle preparation experience is desirable
21. A keen eye for detail and pride in delivering consistently high standards of cleanliness and presentation
22. A full UK driving licence (essential)
23. A Class 2 (Category C) licence is desirable
24. A professional and courteous manner with strong communication skills
25. Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
26. A commitment to safety and representing the business to the highest standard
