As the business grows from strength to strength, we are now looking to further extend our renewables team by recruiting a professional engineer, who has prior project management experience with solar or battery projects, to be based out of our Stockport office. We are looking for: a good electrical, mechanical or renewables based degree. project management experience gained during the development, construction or operational phases of ground mount solar farm or BESS projects. previous experience of using industry standard software to make solar resource and energy yield assessments. have contributed to feasibility studies, technical reports and design reviews in a previous role. experience in the financing of renewable energy projects, ideally including technical due diligence exposure. good understanding of the key technical risks with solar projects, including the ability to identify potential technical design or installation risks. the ability to correctly interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, models, specifications and functional descriptions. able and willing to travel in the UK and EU for client meetings, site visits, factory tests, etc. Please note: candidates must have an existing right to work for this role; we are unable to sponsor skilled worker visas.
