We are currently looking for an experienced Technical Manager to join our team and take responsibility for food safety and technical compliance across the business. This role can be offered on a full-time or part-time basis, depending on the availability and experience of the successful candidate. About the Role: As Technical Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food safety, quality, and compliance within the company. Tamar Fresh produces ready-to-eat products, prepared vegetables, and fresh fruit and vegetables, so maintaining the highest standards of food safety is essential. You will work closely with management and production teams to ensure that our processes, documentation, and standards meet industry requirements and support our continued growth. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the food safety and quality management systems Ensure compliance with current certification standards, including SALSA Food Certification and Micron 2 Certification Lead and maintain HACCP systems and food safety procedures Manage audits and maintain audit readiness Support and train staff on food safety, hygiene, and quality standards Maintain technical documentation and records Work with the leadership team to support the company’s future transition toward BRCGS Global Food Safety Standard certification Working Hours: Day shift Monday to Friday Full-time or part-time considered depending on candidate availability Pay: Salary/rate of pay will be dependent on experience About You: The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience in a Technical Manager or senior food safety/technical role Strong knowledge of food safety standards and auditing processes Experience within fresh produce or ready-to-eat food manufacturing Excellent organisational and communication skills A proactive approach and the ability to work independently About Tamar Fresh: Tamar Fresh is a medium-sized, family-run business with a supportive and friendly team environment.
