Main duties of the job
* Responding to medical problems presented by patients, including history taking, examination, investigation, diagnosis, treatment, and referral where appropriate.
* Providing appropriate preventative health care and advice.
* Adhering to the practice prescribing formulary.
* Participating in clinical governance activities and contributing to quality improvement through the practice's audit programme.
* Participating in patient triage and responding to patient queries.
* Performing clinical and administrative duties necessary for the delivery of the GMS contract, including results, letters, reports, and repeat prescribing.
* Engaging in educational activities to maintain clinical competence, including completing objectives with your appraiser.
* Supporting practice staff and responding to requests from reception, secretarial, and nursing teams.
* Undertaking mandatory training and maintaining professional behavior to promote quality practice and team development.

The Grove Medical Centre, established in 1985, provides comprehensive primary health care to approximately 15,500 patients.
Our team includes three partners, salaried GPs, practice nurses, healthcare assistants, allied health professionals, and administrative staff including an Operations Manager and Reception Manager.
We are part of the SASSE 2 PCN, a group of five local GP practices working together to improve healthcare and reduce health inequalities.
This role is based at The Grove Medical Centre.
Job responsibilities

Experience
* Newly qualified GP within the last 2 years.
