Day-to-Day Maintenance Electrician Leeds Area £38,000 per year + Van + Fuel Card
Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:00am–4:30pm | 40 hours per week
On-Call Rota Required
An established housing provider in the Leeds area is seeking an experienced and reliable Maintenance Electrician to join their Property Services team. You’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical repairs and maintenance across a portfolio of domestic properties.
The RoleYou will carry out a variety of electrical maintenance tasks, ensuring work ispleted safely, efficiently, and to professional standards. You’ll be working in occupied and void properties, providing excellent service to tenants and residents.
Key Responsibilities
1. plete day-to-day electrical repairs and maintenance
2. Conduct fault-finding, diagnostics, and rectification
3. Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
4. Install, replace, or repair electrical fixtures, fittings, and appliances
5. Undertake EICRs and produce accurate certification
6. Ensurepliance with 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
7. Participate in an on-call rota for emergency repairs
8. Maintain van stock and update job details via digital systems
9. Deliver excellent customer service
10. Work independently while representing the organisation professionally
What We’re Looking ForEssential Qualifications:
11. NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
12. 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
13. 2391 Inspection & Testing (or 2394/2395 equivalent)
Experience & Skills:
14. Experience in domestic or social housing maintenance
15. Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability
16. Excellentmunication and customer service skills
17. Full UK Driving Licence
