Lettings Negotiator
Full Time, Permanent
We are looking for a Lettings Negotiator to join our friendly team in Bristol City Council. You will deliver high‑quality frontline services to citizens and work with landlords and agents to create availability of suitable private rental accommodation, including temporary and long‑term housing options. Your role supports the council’s goal of preventing homelessness for up to 1,000 households in temporary accommodation.
Responsibilities
* Engage private sector landlords and agents to promote the benefits of working with Bristol City Council.
* Deliver frontline services to citizens, including facilitating access to suitable private rental accommodation.
* Prioritise workload, manage time effectively, and maintain a positive mindset.
* Work in partnership with the Housing Options Service to prevent homelessness for households in crisis.
Qualifications
* Strong negotiation skills.
* Excellent time‑management and prioritisation ability.
* Positive, customer‑focused attitude.
* Experience in housing, lettings, or a related area is desirable.
