A leading UK M&E contractor with a strong track record delivering major commercial and high-value building services projects is seeking to appoint a Senior Mechanical Construction Manager to play a key role on a landmark £45m M&E commercial development in the City of London.
This flagship scheme is scheduled for completion in 2027, offering the opportunity to work on a technically complex, fast-paced project within a high-profile central London environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee and manage the mechanical construction works on a large-scale commercial project
* Ensure delivery is aligned with programme, quality, and safety targets
* Supervise and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
* Monitor installation progress and drive productivity on site
* Support testing, commissioning, and handover processes
* Work closely with project managers, commercial teams, and consultants to manage progress and resolve issues
* Ensure all works are delivered in accordance with design specifications and health & safety standards
* Maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
About You
* Proven experience as a Mechanical Construction Manager within M&E / Building Services
* Experience managing complex mechanical installations and multiple subcontractorsStrong leadership and site management capabilities
* Good understanding of programme delivery and coordination
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
* Must be able to commute to a Central London site
