Role Purpose:
To supervise and promote our commercial bakery, 'Pure Kitchen,' deliver excellent customer care and drive a high standard of quality in all the products and services it provides.

Assist in the support and training of a group of adults with a learning or physical disability (Referred to in this Job Description as 'Clients'). You will ensure that our clients are cared for, that their independence is promoted and that they are always at the heart of everything that Pure kitchen produces.
Core Responsibilities :
* To line manage a team of bakery assistants across a 5-day week
* Provide bakery specific training to a group of Support workers who are at the project to support our clients.
* To manage a production plan, ensuring that orders are prepared and delivered within the desired time frame.
* To manage a staff rota, ensuring that the bakery is sufficiently staffed based on income targets and production planning.
* To drive and develop the quality standards of everything that is produced at the bakery, ensuring that your team understands and is able to deliver those standards.
* To develop and promote our buffet offer including an annual review of buffet menu's.
* To be innovative, come up with new and bold ideas for the forward trajectory of the bakery.
* Produce costings, ensuring that all products on sale meet the gross profit expectations of the business.
* To recruit and train bakery assistants in line with Pure's recruitment and Induction policies.
* To work alongside Pure Support Staff to ensure clients are trained and supported to work in a catering environment, promoting their independence and personal development.
* To communicate effectively with the Catering Management team including other supervisors.
* To manage the food product ordering system, ensuring that the bakery is stocked in line with demand and that waste is kept to a minimum.
* To ensure that the bakery complies with all food hygiene legislation, including management of the safer food better business system.
* Managing the HUBL app, ensuring that daily, weekly, and monthly checks are carried out.
* To ensure that the bakery maintains a 5* food hygiene rating.
* To be key holder for the bakery and manage the security of the premises, including holding and issuing alarm codes.
* To carry out a monthly stocktake, ensuring that all stock is accounted for.
* To ensure that the café is kept to the highest standards of cleanliness and carrying out regular 'deep cleans.'
* To attend relevant training including Food Hygiene Level 3.
* To hold team meetings on a regular basis.
* To complete all paperwork as required in the specified timeframe.
* To comply with all Pure Innovations policies and procedures.
* Manage staff sickness including carrying out return to work interviews, sickness stage meetings and updating Bright HR.
* Use the health and safety app to carry out monthly audits and quality checks.
* Carry out twice yearly reviews of allergen information including prepacked for direct sale goods.
* Managing building checks, including weekly and monthly fire checks, report and maintenance requirements and carry out fire drills.
* Carry out regular supervisions with your team and annual appraisals.
* Be an ambassador to the services Pure provides, by ensuring that clients are at the forefront of what we do.
* Ensure that the staff team are up to date with reading and signing client, building and activity risk assessments.
* To promote Pure Kitchen and its goods at regular markets and events.
* To carry out investigations in line with the disciplinary policy.
* Promote the bakery at local events and artisan markets.
Requirements:
* Previous on the job training and development within a catering setting.
* At least 3 years' experience working in a professional catering environment.
* At least 2 years leadership/management experience.
