Our client, based in Warwickshire, is a growing business within the commercial & hospitality sector. They are now seeking a Group Purchaser to take ownership of purchasing activity across both divisions. This is a varied role offering exposure to estimating, project-based purchasing, and supplier management, with clear opportunities for development and progression. The ideal candidate will have a background in purchasing, procurement, estimating, or a commercial role and will thrive in a small, fast-growing business where collaboration, ownership, and commercial thinking are key. Key Responsibilities: Act as the central purchasing contact across multiple business divisions. Prepare cost estimates and project quotations from drawings and specifications. Coordinate purchasing activity to improve consistency, visibility and value. Liaise with suppliers regarding pricing, availability, lead times and orders. Develop and manage preferred supplier relationships. Purchase equipment and materials for live projects and coordinate deliveries. Support value engineering, cost control and efficiency improvements. Assist with the development of purchasing processes and controls. Key Skills & Experience Prior experience in a purchasing, procurement, estimating, or commercial role. Experience liaising with suppliers and managing orders. Exposure to project-based environments or managing multiple workstreams. Background within commercial, construction, fit-out, building services, or a related sector (desirable). Strong organisational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Confident communicator, able to build relationships internally and externally. Commercially minded with a proactive and solution-focused approach.
