Overview
FM Consultant and Senior Consultant - Facilities Management Services at Turner & Townsend. The role focuses on helping clients optimise their facilities management services, aligning the FM strategy with the business, developing operational structures and processes, and procuring the best possible supply chain supported by performance management and benchmarking tools.
Responsibilities
* Cooperative team member supporting senior team members in the successful delivery of projects.
* Capable of independently completing tasks, managing your time, and meeting project timescales with potential tight deadlines.
* Support senior team members in business development activities, such as bid writing and developing marketing material.
* Apply FM industry best practice to all elements of the role.
* Build strong, professional client relationships and identify and resolve client issues.
* Analyse information quickly, evaluate options, and make decisions when parameters are unclear and judgment is needed.
* Take personal responsibility for quality and commercial delivery while developing skills and sharing knowledge within the consulting practice.
* Be flexible to work within any consulting practice where your skills add value and support cross-team collaboration.
Qualifications
As an FM Consultant you have an understanding of the following competencies:
* Undertaking Strategic FM Reviews
* Procurement of FM Services
* Benchmarking of FM services
* Providing contract mobilisation support
* FM operational support
* FM contract and performance management
* Writing of service specifications, key performance indicators and other contract documents
* Conducting FM design reviews
* Understanding of Lifecycle & Whole Life Costs
* Delivering Operational Readiness & Mobilisation
Education, Qualifications & Experience
* Ideally degree qualified or equivalent qualification in a related subject or appropriate industry experience
* Proficient and experienced in using MS Office software including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project and Visio
