The Grand Hotel Leicester by the Unlimited Collection is seeking a dedicated and detail orientated Assistant Housekeeping Manager with a passion for service excellence to help us provide our guests with an unforgettable experience.
You will report to the Housekeeping Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department. The role involves ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction are maintained throughout the hotel.
An Assistant Housekeeping Manager will be responsible for:
* Assisting in managing the housekeeping team, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
* Ensure all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards.
* Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met.
* Address guest complaints and requests promptly and professionally.
* Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and place orders as needed.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure smoot operations and guest satisfaction.
* Assistant in developing and implementing housekeeping policies and procedures.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
To be successful in the role of Assistant Housekeeping Manager, we require:
* Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role, preferably in a hotel setting.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Knowledge of housekeeping procedures and best practices.
* Proficency in using housekeeping management software is a plus.
