The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a factory environment. In this role, you will eventually be responsible for spraying high-quality bespoke design timber doors, windows, cabinets, and other bespoke furniture. Any spray finishing would be an advantage.
Responsibilities: Initially, the candidate will be assisting the sprayers by preparing timber products and other substrates ready for the spraying stage of the manufacturing process (sanding, priming, and top-up coating). Using water-based and solvent paints and stains. Use spray guns (air assisted). Work to tight deadlines to meet the demands of the business whilst maintaining quality control. Follow job sheets accurately to ensure a quality product is produced.
You will need to be dedicated about your work with good attention to detail and be able to work to deadlines whilst maintaining a top-quality finish. Work will mainly be at our Sittingbourne premises, with the occasional on-site work.
Overtime is paid at time and a half (x1.5).
