Are you an experienced Surface Treatment Technician/Anodiser/Plater looking to advance your career? You will be responsible for the masking, bead blasting, and surface preparation of small, precisely manufactured components. Location / Hours: You will be based near Gerrards Cross, accessible by car or close public transport links, with free parking available.
* Hours: Week One6am - 2pmand Week Two1:45pm - 10pm (£31-33,000 per annum including shift allowance).
* Overtime: Available daily and is paid at time and a half.
Candidates from a surface treatment background (plating, anodising, jigging, etc) are urged to apply! Key Responsibilities:
* Operate barrel tumbling and rumbling and vibratory finishing equipment.
* Prepare metallic surfaces for further processing, including anodising and passivation.
* Mask components to ensure critical features are protected.
* Operate anodising finishing equipment, both manual and automated.
* Prepare components for finishing processes (e.g., bunging, masking, jigging).
* Inspect parts to ensure quality standards are met.
* Pack parts for internal transport and storage.
* Interpret part numbers, drawing issue numbers, process specifications, and finishes.
* Utilize basic measuring equipment.
* Read and interpret engineering drawings.
* Understand health and safety and COSHH regulations related to hazardous substances.
* Have a basic manufacturing/engineering background.
