Walsall Council is seeking a passionate and experienced Social Worker to join their Children in Care (CIC) team, providing high-quality support to vulnerable children and young people in care. Key Responsibilities
* Manage a varied caseload of Looked After Children in foster care, residential placements, or at home
* Undertake statutory visits, ensuring care and pathway plans are progressing effectively
* Conduct assessments, risk analysis, and care planning in line with safeguarding legislation
* Coordinate and participate in care planning meetings, reviews, PEPs, and placement stability meetings
* Collaborate with parents, carers, guardians, and multi‑agency professionals to secure positive outcomes
