Description: Axon Moore are supporting a fast paced organisation based in South Yorkshire in the appointment of an Interim Financial Controller to support them through a period of growth.
Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for managing the organisation's financial performance and overseeing the accounting operations. This is a hands-on and varied role supporting the finance team and contributing to a number of projects.
The key roles and responsibilities for this person will include:
* Oversee the accounting activities
* Analysis of financial information including variance analysis and commentary
* Co-ordinating auditing processes and liaising with external auditors
* Ensure all reconciliations are completed
* Review of internal controls.
* Process improvement and driving efficiencies
* Supporting on a number of projects.
The ideal candidate requirements for this role will include the following:
* Qualified accountant
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills
* Able to interrogate financial data
This is a 3 - 6 month assignment and offers an immediate start.
It offers Hybrid working (3 days on site) and is outside IR35.
