Store PersonLocation: Phillips 66 Humber Refinery, Eastfield Road, South Killingholme, DN40 3DWHours: 20 hours per weekShift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 10:00amPay Rate: £12.70 per hourRequirement: Must hold a valid UK driving licenceJob IntroductionWe are currently recruiting for a reliable and motivated Store Person to join our team at the Phillips 66 Humber Refinery.This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth receipt, storage, and management of stock while maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and customer service.Flexibility is essential, as you may be required to work additional hours to cover sickness, holidays, or special events.What You'll DoReceive deliveries and store items in the correct locations, completing quality checks, delivery documentation, and stock rotation in line with company standardsReport shortages or damaged goods to management as instructedCarry out stock rotation (FIFO), checking use-by dates and reporting short-dated itemsComplete monthly stock takes accurately and on timeEscort delivery drivers around site, ensuring compliance with site rules and proceduresMaintain high standards of housekeeping in storerooms, including sweeping, mopping, and completing daily/weekly cleaning schedulesCheck cleaning cupboards weekly to ensure correct stock levelsFollow correct manual handling techniques and use trolleys where requiredProvide efficient, friendly service to clients, stakeholders, customers, and colleaguesComplete all required documentation and check sheets accuratelyReport all accidents and near misses in line with Health & Safety proceduresWear correct uniform and PPE at all timesEnsure all equipment is safe to use and report faults immediatelyAttend job-related training, safety awareness courses, and staff safety forums as requiredSupport other members of the team when neededWhat You'll BringPrevious experience in a catering, food, hospitality, or similar environmentExperience in cleaning and maintaining hygiene standardsPrevious food handling experienceBasic Food Hygiene Certificate (or equivalent)Strong customer service skillsFriendly and approachable mannerExcellent timekeeping and reliabilityHigh standards of personal hygiene and appearanceFlexible approach to working hours, including additional cover when requiredWhat We OfferWorking with Sodexo is more than a job — it's a chance to be part of something greater.
