Our client is seeking an Interim Commercial Finance Director to lead the financial strategy, analysis, and performance management within their organisation. This pivotal role ensures the delivery of accurate, insightful financial reporting and strategic guidance to drive income, profitability, and business growth. You will collaborate closely with the Executive Leadership Team, delivering data-driven decision support and fostering a high-performance culture.
What you'll do:
* Lead the financial planning and forecasting processes, including the creation and management of robust 5-year plans.
* Partner with key executives to deliver commercial strategies that drive revenue growth.
* Act as the primary financial advisor to senior management.
* Oversee the preparation and presentation of financial reports.
* Ensure the delivery of high-quality analysis.
* Collaborate with Commercial Leads to track income performance.
* Provide leadership in pricing strategies and market trend analysis.
* Build and lead a high-performing finance team.
* Uphold compliance and governance standards within the finance function.
* Drive continuous improvements in planning, budgeting, and month-end processes.
What you bring:
* Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
* Extensive experience in commercial finance at director level.
* Proven leadership experience in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and presentation skills.
* Experience in the insurance broker sector or similar is ideal.
