Role: Recruitment & Employment Coordinator
Salary: £26,000 per annum rising to £27,500 after completion of successful probation period
Contract type: Permanent
Working hours: Full Time (37.5 hrs pw)
Location: Between Scunthorpe, DN15 & Grimsby, DN31

Were seeking a proactive Recruitment & Employment Coordinator to help connect jobseekers with the right opportunities. Youll act as the key link between our Advisory team, customers and employersensuring CVs and applications are prepared to a high standard, and supporting customers with job-goal setting, pre-employment checks and mock interviews.
Youll source suitable candidates for vacancies, coordinate interviews, and prepare customers for each stage. Working closely with the Business and Recruitment Managers, youll track results, produce reports and keep all systems and records up to date.

What youll do
Co-ordinate submissions to vacancies by internal and external partners
Track and support submissions through to vacancies
Liaise with employers to schedule interviews and communicate these to customers successfully selected
Conduct pre-screening of all customers submitted for Recruitment Managers' vacancies and Pre-Employment Training courses to ensure that only candidates of the right calibre are selected for consideration
Work with candidates to ensure CV and covering letters are up to date and specific to the jobs they are applying for
Coordinate all Centre vacancies and requirements for the Recruitment Managers and prepare candidates using pre-screening techniques e.g. mock interviews etc
Develop and maintain an excellent understanding of customers on your caseload to build a dynamic database of their career aspirations, licenses to practice, specific working hours, etc., allowing for efficient and timely submissions to vacancies
Monitor the volume of submissions received from Employment Advisors for roles and feedback to Business Managers on volumes, as well as ratios of submissions, interviews and starts.
What youll need
Level 2 English and Maths as a minimum
Degree or equivalent qualification in a similar area
Excellent knowledge of the local labour market
Proven experience of working closely with local, national and regional employers
Knowledge of Jobcentre Plus programmes and incentives for unemployed people
Ability to liaise with internal/external agencies and companies, and build relationships with employers
Must be highly organised and time management focused with an ability to prioritise tasks
Full, clean UK driving license as this role requires travel.
Overseas equivalent qualifications will be accepted.
