The Role
As our Sous Chef, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations. You will lead by example, ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and presentation. Your responsibilities will include
Assisting in the design and execution of seasonal menus
Supervising and mentoring junior kitchen staff
Maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations
Managing inventory and ensuring efficient stock control
Overseeing kitchen operations in the Head Chefs absence
About You
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated culinary professional who:
Has proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role
Demonstrates strong leadership and communication skills
Possesses a deep understanding of various cooking techniques and kitchen equipment
Thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Holds relevant culinary qualifications and food hygiene certifications
