Dragonville Leisure was established in 2014 and specialises in the sale of Camper Vans and Motorhomes. We are looking for a reliable and professional Self Employed Trade Plate Driver to join our team. This role involves collecting and delivering Campers and Motorhomes across the UK, ensuring that every movement is in line with our high standards of care and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
* Collect and deliver vehicles nationwide using trade plates.
* Travel with one of our team in Dragonville transport for some journeys.
* Travel independently via train to collect/deliver vehicles when required.
* Carry out basic vehicle checks prior to collection and delivery.
* Ensure all vehicles are handled safely and professionally at all times.
* Complete paperwork and handovers accurately.
* Represent Dragonville Leisure with professionalism and courtesy.
Requirements
* Valid UK driving licence (Max. 3 points)
* Previous experience as a trade plate driver or in vehicle movements is preferred.
* C1 Licence would be advantageous
* Strong awareness of road safety and vehicle handling.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Flexibility to travel nationwide, sometimes at short notice. Number of hours per week are not guaranteed and will change each week.
£15.00 per hour (self employed) payable by BACS upon completion of each job.
This position would be ideal for a self employed driver who already has some regular work and would like to 'top it up' with some work from us. We do have a transport company who we already use, although they can sometimes get very busy and the plan would be to share our collections/deliveries across the transport company and trade plate driver so that we are then offering the absolute very best service to our customers, whether they are buying from us or selling to us
