The Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Researcher/Writer to join our growing team. You will be instrumental in shaping the voice and content of Largence Intel, translating complex legal and regulatory information into clear, concise, and actionable insights for our diverse audience. This role requires a deep understanding of legal concepts, excellent research skills, and a passion for communicating the "so what" behind legal developments.
Key Responsibilities:
Research & Analysis: Conduct in-depth research on legal, tax, accounting, and compliance developments, identifying key regulatory shifts and their practical implications for legal drafting.
Content Creation: Produce high-quality, engaging content for all Largence Intel pillars, including:
The Lean Legalist: Practical "Intel" on topics like IR35, cross-border VAT, and IP protection for freelancers and solopreneurs.
The Regulatory Redline: Deep dives into new laws (e.g., UK tax reforms) with specific "clause-level" impacts and "before and after" drafting comparisons.
The Future of Work-Law: Thought leadership on legal-tech trends, AI adoption, and the evolving legal profession.
Jurisdiction Spotlights: Comparative analysis of compliance requirements across UK, EU, and Commonwealth markets.
The Expert's Edge: Highlighting insights from verified publishers in our Professional Library.
Editorial Excellence: Ensure all content adheres to the "Drafting-Native" editorial style—action-oriented, visual, structured, evidence-based, and zero-fluff.
SEO Optimization: Collaborate on content strategy to ensure maximum visibility and engagement on LinkedIn and Medium.
Platform Integration: Work closely with the product team to identify opportunities for integrating content insights directly into the Largence platform (e.g., linking articles to Curated Templates).
What We're Looking For:
Legal Background: A degree in Law (LLB, JD, or equivalent) or significant experience in a legal research/paralegal role is would be good but not required.
Exceptional Writing Skills: Proven ability to write clear, concise, and engaging content for a professional audience, with a strong grasp of legal terminology.
Research Prowess: Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough legal and regulatory research from primary and secondary sources.
Analytical Mindset: Capacity to break down complex legal concepts into understandable, actionable insights.
Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with legal tech trends and an enthusiasm for AI's role in transforming the legal profession.
Self-Starter: Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced startup environment.
