We are working with a fantastic, well-established business based in Hawarden who are looking to recruit a Part‑Time Accounts & Payroll Assistant to join their small, friendly team.
Working closely with the company accountant and support team, you will be responsible for a range of day‑to‑day accounts and payroll duties to help keep things running smoothly.
Key responsibilities include:
* Processing weekly and monthly payroll accurately and efficiently
* Managing purchase and sales ledgers
* Completing bank reconciliations and general account maintenance
* Assisting with VAT returns and financial reporting
* Handling supplier invoices, payments, and queries
* Providing general finance administration support as needed
You will have:
* Previous experience in a similar accounts and payroll position is essential
* Construction industry experience would be highly beneficial but not essential
* Confident using accounting software Sage
* High attention to detail, organised and reliable
* A true team player who enjoys working in a small, collaborative team
What is on offer:
* £26,000 - £28,000 pro‑rata
* Flexible working: 3 full days or 5 shorter days per week
