What we need Reconcile Jemca Centre daily banking reports and posting customer receipts, clearing relevant Control Accounts and assisting Operations with any receipt enquiries Review, maintain and report on Jemca accounts receivables highlighting any issues to the Jemca Centre Credit Controllers, Operations and/or the Accountants Process automated Parts, Vehicles and Warranty invoices clearing down any purchases awaiting invoicing (Goods Received Not Invoiced) Authorise payments transactions as well as posting Road-Fund Licence payments Process EMAC and Toyota / Lexus National Plan transactions to sales ledger and nominal ledger accounts keeping up to date any daily reconciliation requirements Process Demo Vehicle write-downs Investigate and clear over aged vehicle accruals on the Balance Sheet (Vehicle Balance Sheet Focus and associated Unreceived Costs Report) Post intercompany Invoices/Credit Notes Perform manufacturer liability, APAK Demo Funding and EMAC / National Plans Fund reconciliations for submission to the MAA and inclusion in monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliation Packs Prepare Balance Sheet Reconciliation Packs for review by the Accountants Work with MAA to produce month end management accounts and ultimately work with the operational team to investigate and explain variances to budget Clear long-aged, unmatched Purchase Ledger entries awaiting invoicing (none-Paperless Finance) Participate in Ad Hoc Reporting/ Projects or at times Group Tasks Arrange top-ups for any e-wallet transactions and perform a monthly reconciliation of the e-wallet account Supervise, support, deputise, train up and collaborate with other Assistant Accountant colleagues where required as part of teaming and exploring efficiencies and new ways of working Your Skills Have at least 3 years experience working as an Assistant Accountant Havetheabilitytoworkon their own initiative as well as part of a team Greatcommunicationskills Automotive experience would be advantages Experiencein a generalist accounts position Keen eye for detail You must be confident in your own ability Experience working on Drive (not essential) What we offer Excellent basic salary £29,000 - £31,000 Pro Rata Study support to help get you qualified Toyota/Lexus training pushing you through the ranks Modern work environment with top facilities Real career progression based around your aspirations Market leading benefits including healthcare, pension, childcare and company lease scheme About our business Jemca Car Group is one of the UKs largest Toyota and Lexus dealerships, employing over 500 employees across sites in Greater London and Thames Valley.Owned by Toyota Tsusho Corporation, a global brand made up of over 428 companies with particular expertise in the automotive sector, we are specialists in our field and are committed to ensuring our customers receive the best experience and service when they visit one of our retail centres.
