We are seeking a Process Technologist to translate NPD (New Product Development) into the factory environment, ensuring product quality, safety, and commercial suitability while meeting customer expectations. The role involves proactively evaluating and improving processes through continuous Kaizen activities and participating actively in the HACCP team to ensure standards are maintained.
1. Attend feasibility and NPD meetings to understand and follow up on new products.
2. Liaise with the Commercial and QA teams to manage distribution changes and ensure proper documentation.
3. Collaborate with the Senior Process Technologist to plan and execute product trials following Taiko launch procedures.
4. Assist in process improvement and ensure timely and accurate validation of new or existing products.
5. Organise and oversee product trials, customer panel trials, and external lab testing, ensuring all documentation is managed from start to finish.
What you'll need:
1. Previous experience in a Food to Go manufacturing environment in a similar role.
2. Understanding of operation and products.
3. Knowledge of the product development process, including planning and conducting trials, creating data for specifications, and writing QAS.
4. Ability to follow critical paths and project timelines.
5. High reliability and flexibility.
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
7. Good time management and organisational skills.
8. Qualification in a food-related discipline is advantageous but not essential.
