Job Description
* Handling day-to-day financial transactions such as invoices, expenses and payments.
* Supporting the accounting team in preparing and maintaining financial reports.
* Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
* Ensuring financial records are kept up-to-date with the latest transactions and decisions.
* Helping with the annual audit preparation and participate in the process.
* Contributing to the development of the company's financial management systems and processes.
* Resolving accounts payable and receivable issues or queries.
* Assisting in payroll preparation by providing relevant data.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
* A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
* A proven understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
* Excellent numeracy skills with an attention to detail.
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
