Job Overview

The Company - Viridian Nutrition is the leading brand of ethical nutritional supplements. "What's an ethical supplement?" we hear you ask Well in a nutshell means we care deeply about everything we do, from the seed to the recycling bank, we focus on minimizing our footprint on the earth and we shun the use of chemicals for a healthier, better way.

From our beginnings back in 1999 we now have a range of over 350 products. Plans are

in place to continue this growth over the coming years, and a key part of that

will be the addition of a Product Analyst.

The role –

This role is needed to help connect all the elements of

product management, building a range which helps people to better health and

happiness and ensuring every supplement meets the Viridian ethos of Effective,

Ethical and Pure. The person in this role will collate data and research to

help identify opportunities, make recommendations on priorities and potential

return as well as project manage the development opportunities with multiple

departments.

The person -

We are seeking someone that is data driven, with a keen eye for spotting market trends and with the ability to communicate this across various departments through the business. This role is ideal for someone passionate about health, wellness, and data who can translate consumer behavior, market intelligence, and competitive insights into actionable strategies that drive growth and innovation. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams and is key member of the marketing department, focusing on product development, product range expansion, and market entry opportunities.

Key responsibilities will include:

* Engage with the team to define, analyse, and prioritise business requirements.
* Review and conduct regular analyses of category/product performance, identifying gaps and opportunities, benchmarking against top players in vitamins & minerals, sports nutrition, and wellness supplements, as well as other potential categories.

· Source, track and evaluate market trends and competitor analysis, monitoring competitor launches, pricing strategies, and marketing campaigns

· Capture and clarify consumer and trade requirements through workshops, interviews, and discussions.

· Use data tools to develop data models and forecasts, building dashboards and reports to visualise insights, drive decision making and communicate/present to various stakeholders.

· Support the creation of business cases for new supplement concepts and provide recommendations for go-to-market and brand strategy based on data insights.

· Project manage product changes, new products and development through the business, including forecasting and organising the funnel/pipeline from idea conception to post launch and ongoing review.

· Identify and manage products to delist, creating a viable plan to transition sales.

· Work with staff across all levels of the business to maintain progress and ensure priorities and context are clearly communicated.

What you will bring to the role:

· 5+ years' experience in a commercial office environment

· Previous experience as Business / Product Analyst and/or Project Manager

· Higher education

· Proficient with Microsoft Office (high level Excel) and data analysis tools

* Excellent interpersonal skills, organisational awareness and people empathy.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate appropriate, concise and accurate information.
* Results driven, with a strong sense of accountability.
* The ability to operate with urgency and prioritise work accordingly.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
