Job Description
We are looking for a F‑35 Sustainment Co‑ordinator who will support the Sustainment Lead in planning, executing and overseeing F‑35 sustainment, ensuring on‑time delivery and customer satisfaction. The role is deputy to the F‑35 Sustainment Lead and acts as a key liaison between internal operations (including Manhattan), engineering, supply chain, and quality teams to manage performance and resolve issues.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, maintain and monitor the Lines of Balance linked to the recovery/delivery schedules ensuring there is a plan for every part.
* Track key performance indicators (KPIs), including TAT and schedule adherence.
* Coordinate with Operations to allocate resources, prioritise workloads, and resolve bottlenecks.
* Work with the engineering teams to log turn‑backs (test yield, quality issues, etc.) and to identify and drive near‑ and longer‑term corrective actions.
* Support preparation for Customer updates and coordinate inputs for Customer reviews relating to F‑35 MICAP.
Operational Coordination
* Work cross‑functionally with Programme Management, Engineering, Production, Quality Assurance, Logistics, and Supply Chain to ensure program alignment.
Risk & Issue Management
* Identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies.
* Escalate critical issues affecting schedule or cost, coordinating resolution across teams.
Customer Relationship Management
* Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders under the direction of the F‑35 Sustainment Lead.
* Provide regular status updates, host review meetings, and manage customer expectations.
Required Skills & Experience
* Working knowledge of the repairs process, work package management and regulatory compliance.
* Ability to analyse operational data and identify trends, bottlenecks, or improvement opportunities.
* Ability to interpret technical documentation (work orders, repair manuals, drawings).
* Strong stakeholder management and customer‑facing communication skills.
* Ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams and influence without direct authority.
* Effective decision‑making under time and operational constraints.

Candidates must be able to work in the UK without restrictions in accordance with UK National Law and be prepared to successfully undertake an appropriate level of UK National Security Vetting according to UK Government National Security Vetting criteria.
