The below job description will outline this position of: Composite Technician
Typically, this person will manufacture high-quality composite components using a range of advanced techniques, ensuring all products meet strict quality, dimensional, and cosmetic standards within a precision-driven environment.

Duties and responsibilities of the Composite Technician:
• Manufacture composite components using hand lay-up, resin infusion, and pre-preg techniques
• Prepare plugs and moulds, including lay-up of dry fibre reinforcements, consumables, and vacuum systems
• Interpret and work from engineering drawings, laminate schedules, and work instructions
• Ensure all components meet quality, dimensional, and cosmetic standards for key customers within Aerospace and Wind Energy sectors
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
• Identify and resolve process or quality issues proactively within a project-based environment
Qualifications and requirements for the Composite Technician:
• Proven experience as a Composite Technician, with a strong focus on infusion processes and advanced composite manufacturing methods
• Good understanding of composite materials including carbon fibre, glass fibre, resins, and core materials
• Experience with vacuum systems, leak detection, and process control
• Ability to work accurately, consistently, and to tight tolerances
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Experience in aerospace, marine, automotive, or motorsport composites (desirable)
• Knowledge of health & safety standards relating to composite manufacturing (desirable)
• Experience with tooling, mould preparation, and finishing processes (desirable)
• Experience with electrical installation (desirable)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a composite-related role preferred
