Beacon Hill is located in Woodsetton, to the east of Sedgley. It is the largest academy in the Trust, with over 1,100 learners. The school recruits at capacity in Year 7 and draws pupils from many primary schools in a highly populated area. Since 2019, GCSE results have improved in attainment and progress, with a notable increase in students achieving Grade 5 or higher in English and Mathematics.
The school's size allows for a broad pastoral care system, including its own AS Base with trained staff providing additional support for AS learners. The academy offers a diverse range of extracurricular activities, including sports, arts, visits to Oxbridge, skiing trips to Italy, WWI battlefield visits, trips to China, and Silicon Valley.

Teaching and Learning are supported by a team of Subject Directors—experienced teachers with leadership and mentoring skills—who support curriculum planning, data analysis, and teacher development in areas such as Mathematics, Science, Reading, Writing, and History.
