Aneurin Bevan University Health Board supports flexible working.

There is a temporary top-up for Bands 2 and 3 to reflect the incorporation of the living wage of £12.60 per hour - £24,638 per annum. This will be in place until the 2025/26 pay uplift is confirmed.

Job Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Communications & Engagement Co-ordinator within Aneurin Bevan University Health Board's (ABUHB) Digital, Data & Technology Directorate.

ABUHB is an integrated, progressive, and ambitious teaching and research organisation undergoing a major digital transformation to improve healthcare services.

As a member of the Digital, Data & Technology Directorate, you will work within the Digital PMO team, building on your skills and providing opportunities for personal and professional development.

You will collaborate with various stakeholders across the Health Board, NHS, and third-party organisations. If you seek a new challenge in a dynamic department, this role is suitable for you.


Main duties of the job

* Providing high-quality communication as part of the Digital PMO team, focusing on New Digital Service Request (NDSR) engagement activities with Divisions
* Collaborating with the Digital PMO Portfolio Analyst to keep Divisions updated on digital service requests through effective communication
* Supporting the Head of PMO & Digital Engagement to organise Divisional Engagement meetings to discuss digital priorities
* Monitoring and evaluating communication activities to improve engagement and outcomes
* Using digital tools and platforms to enhance communication efforts

Qualifications And Knowledge

Essential criteria

* Diploma level education or equivalent knowledge and experience
* 5 GCSEs including Maths and English (A-C)

Desirable criteria

* Prince2 Foundation or equivalent experience


Experience

Essential criteria

* Effective communication with all professional levels
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365, including SharePoint and Power BI
* Producing management information reports

Desirable criteria

* Experience within a PMO or project environment
* Previous NHS experience


Skills and Attributes

Essential criteria

* Strong communication skills and report writing
* Organising multi-disciplinary meetings and minute-taking
* Teamwork and ability to work independently
* Working under pressure and meeting deadlines

Desirable criteria

* Professional and articulate communication with managers and external organisations
* Analytical skills for interpreting complex information
