Your new companyWe are currently seeking an experienced and confident Housing Officer to support a busy housing team on a 6‑month contract. This role requires a strong all‑rounder who is comfortable working across tenancy, rents, and voids, and who can provide informal guidance to Housing Assistants when needed.Although there are no direct line‑management responsibilities, previous experience supporting or guiding junior staff would be beneficial.Your new role
* Start date: ASAP
* Duration: 6 months
* Hours: Full‑time, 35 hours per week (Monday-Friday)
* Working pattern: Hybrid working
o Office closes at 4pm on Fridays
What you'll need to succeed
* comfortable managing a varied workload
* strong knowledge of housing legislation, compliance, and best practice
* Can handle ASB, neighbour disputes, and tenancy issues confidently
* able to support Housing Assistants with queries and more complex cases
* Driving is essential due to the location and spread of housing stock
* Clear disclosure required
* Experience using QL is highly desirable
* Strong background across tenancy management, rents, voids, ASB, and estate management
