Why this role matters
The Junior Project Manager plays a vital role in helping to deliver CSG’s strategic and business improvement initiatives. Sitting within our Business Improvement Team, you’ll work alongside experienced Project Managers to deliver internal transformation projects that enable the Group to operate more efficiently, collaborate effectively across divisions, and drive continuous improvement.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build their project management career within a dynamic, purpose-driven organisation. You’ll gain hands-on experience managing smaller projects and supporting on large-scale, complex programmes that directly contribute to CSG’s strategic goals.
What you’ll be doing
Support Project Managers in delivering large-scale, complex projects across the Group
Manage and lead less complex internal projects for CSG customers
Track project progress, tasks, deadlines and dependencies to maintain project momentum
Coordinate internal resources and external vendors to ensure timely and effective project delivery
Support in defining project scope, objectives and success criteria with stakeholders
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, identifying risks, issues and dependencies
Produce regular highlight and status reports for project sponsors and steering groups
Maintain comprehensive project documentation and help create new templates and tools
Support the promotion of collaboration, shared learning and continuous improvement across the Group
Provide administrative support to the Business Improvement Team when required
What we’re looking for
Experience or knowledge in a project or business improvement environment
Understanding of project lifecycles, processes and governance
Awareness of the value of change initiatives and business improvement activities
Strong organisational and coordination skills, with attention to detail
Experience producing reports or project documentation
Confident communicator, able to work with stakeholders at all levels
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Outlook)
Collaborative and proactive mindset with a genuine passion for learning
Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities effectively
Positive, flexible, and adaptable to change
