Senior Legal Counsel | Drive Legal Strategy in a Fast-Paced Pharma Business
How you will make an impact:
* Deliver legal strategy aligned to business goals and regulatory requirements
* Provide clear, commercial legal advice to senior stakeholders
* Lead drafting, review, and negotiation of complex commercial agreements
* Advise on pharmaceutical regulation, ABPI Code, PMCPA, GxP, and governance matters
* Support data protection strategy, including GDPR, DPIAs, and breach management
* Identify and mitigate legal risk across business operations
* Improve legal processes, contract governance, and team efficiency
* Partner closely with Medical, Commercial, Compliance, and Regulatory teams
What we’re looking for:
* Qualified lawyer (England & Wales or equivalent)
* 8–12 years’ PQE
* Strong pharmaceutical or life sciences industry experience
* Expertise in commercial contracts, pharmaceutical regulation, ABPI, PMCPA, GDPR, and UK data protection law
* Experience advising on prescription medicines, generics and/or OTC portfolios
* Strong drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
* Commercially minded, pragmatic, and able to operate at pace
* DPO experience desirable
