The Opportunity
As an Electrical Building Services Engineer you will be a key part of the Building Services Engineering Team, working on multidisciplinary projects while being supported by graduate Electrical Services engineers and technicians. You will be part of a team of over 25 engineers and technicians in the Leeds office and a wider 100+ engineers and technicians within the North West & Yorkshire region.
Responsibilities
* Apply your engineering expertise to shape our projects.
* Work in an interdisciplinary environment and design buildings that maximise value for our clients while minimising environmental impact.
* Play an active role in all stages of projects from feasibility through to completion across sectors including commercial, residential, education, energy, sport, health and mixed-use developments.
* Take an active role in pursuing development and training initiatives that drive innovation and enable the application of electrical engineering expertise across multiple sectors within building services.
* Contribute to the digital transformation of our business, seeking new ways to increase efficiency through automation and to offer new services through our integrated digital approach to design.

Is this role right for you?
We’re looking for a candidate who:
* Is working towards Chartered status with CIBSE, IET, or a similar professional body. A Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent is preferred but not required.
* Has proficiency in designing electrical systems such as lighting, power distribution, fire alarms, and data/communications systems.
* Is familiar with working within a BIM environment using Revit and electrical design tools (e.g., Amtech, Dialux, Relux).
* Demonstrates excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills, with a collaborative approach to multidisciplinary project teams.
* Is committed to professional development, mentoring junior engineers and technicians, and passionate about sustainable building design and innovation.
