EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant – Bournemouth
Are you passionate about supporting young children with additional needs to thrive in their early years education? We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant to join our welcoming team in Bournemouth.
This rewarding role involves supporting children within the Early Years Foundation Stage, helping them to develop socially, emotionally, and academically in a nurturing and inclusive environment. You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to provide tailored support for pupils with special educational needs, both on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
The Role
* Support children with SEN within the EYFS setting
* Assist with implementing personalised learning and behaviour strategies
* Encourage communication, independence, and social development
* Help create a positive, engaging, and safe learning environment
* Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external professionals
The Ideal Candidate
* Has experience working with children in EYFS or SEN settings
* Is patient, empathetic, and adaptable
* Has strong communication and teamwork skills
* Understands the importance of safeguarding and inclusion
* Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
