A small high street firm with strong family values and believe in a work-life balance is looking to recruit a Legal Secretary. Having grown considerably since being established nearly 8 years ago, they now have several offices across the country.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Legal Secretary based in their Reading office, working in the Conveyancing Department. The Conveyancing team enjoys a high volume and variety of instructions from clients and businesses throughout England and Wales.
No day is the same in their Conveyancing department and they are looking for someone who is proactive, strives to work in a fast-paced environment and is not afraid of being an integral part of the business.
Ideally, you will have some experience working within a similar role. However, applicants who are enthusiastic about joining the legal profession and are keen to learn are also welcome to apply.
The role will include, but is not limited to, the following duties:
Greeting clients and other visitors to their office
Opening and closing/archiving files
Reviewing instructions and title registers
Dealing and assisting with incoming and outgoing post
Assisting with arranging appointments
Scanning/filing post and documents
Carrying out ID verifications using electronic software
Assisting with file management and corresponding with clients and third parties
