Responsibilities
Resident Site Engineer, Lutterworth. Working rotating 12 hour days and nights. 25 days holiday plus stats, employer contributory pension scheme and private healthcare.
The Role - Resident Engineer / Maintenance Engineer
1. Breakdown and planned preventative maintenance on a variety of automated machinery, to include; wrappers; pallet conveyors; packaging machinery; pallet stacker cranes, autostore and robots.
2. To undertake scheduled repairs in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations and industry standard practices.
3. Prioritise system faults.
4. To ensure quality of output at all time.
5. To accurately record all work undertaken.
6. Involvement in continuous improvement projects.
7. Comply with Health & Safety legislation at all times.
Application Requirements
The Person - Resident Engineer / Maintenance Engineer
8. An apprentice trained Mechanical or Electrical Engineer or equivalent qualification.
9. Experience of working with automated machinery is ideal, however it is not essential as training will be provided.
10. Happy to work at heights.
11. This is a customer facing role, so you must be able to communicate effectively at all levels.
