We are looking to recruit a new HR Advisor to join the People Team.
HR Advisor Responsibilities
As an HR Advisor, you’ll provide expert guidance and support to our leaders across all areas of HR, ensuring the effective implementation of HR policies, processes, and best practices. You will be a trusted advisor, equipping managers with the knowledge and tools needed to navigate HR challenges, ensuring consistency, compliance, and fairness in decision‑making.
Managing circa. 30 active cases at any one time, the HR Advisor works across all areas of the business, supporting leaders through HR processes such as employee relations, performance management, and policy implementation. By offering hands‑on support, the HR Advisor empowers leaders to address HR issues confidently while maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
Qualifications
* Experience in an HR advisory or generalist role, with a strong focus on employee relations and case management.
* Ability to manage a high‑volume caseload, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
* Knowledge of employment law, HR policies, and best practices, with the ability to interpret and apply them confidently in real‑time situations.
* Understanding of HR processes, including disciplinary procedures, grievance handling, absence management, and performance improvement plans.
* Experience supporting leaders through HR processes, providing clear guidance to ensure consistency, compliance, and fairness.
* Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making skills, with the ability to handle sensitive and complex cases while maintaining confidentiality.
A CIPD qualification or working towards one is desirable.
