We are actively recruiting for a Payroll job opportunity with a successful, accountancy firm based inLeicester. The salary is negotiable, will of course depend on experience and qualification level and is open within reason.
The firm are seeking to hire the role on a part-time, permanent basis. Ideally looking to hire someone between 26 and 30 hours per week, across 4 days, but there is flexibility for the right person.
Responsibilities (may include all / any of the following):
1. Prepare, process and manage the payrolls for a portfolio of clients, ranging from sole traders to more complex payrolls
2. Organise and plan own workload
3. Set up new starters and process leavers
4. Input and calculate payroll data
5. Process all statutory payments when required
6. Submit real time information to HMRC
7. Calculate and process pension figures
8. Ensure clients are compliant with Auto Enrolment legislation
9. Make required declarations to the Pensions Regulator
10. Upload pension information to varies pension dashboards
11. Year-end returns and P60 forms
12. Process new client applications to register for PAYE
13. Deal with correspondence from HMRC on payroll related matters
14. Communicate with clients on the phone and in person
15. Respond to ad hoc payroll queries which may be raised from both payroll and non-payroll clients
