Kernow Farm & Equine Vets are looking for an ATT to join our friendly and supportive team on a permanent basis. A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an honest, reliable, enthusiastic individual to become part of our great team. The role will involve mainly TB testing as well as supporting our vet and office team. If you are a qualified ATT looking for a change, then Kernow Vets would like to hear from you. If you are not currently an ATT, we can provide full ATT training (approx. 4 months duration) to the right candidate. The minimum requirements for the Approved Tuberculin Tester (ATT) course are: Minimum of 6 months' cattle handling experience; and either 3 GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in English, mathematics, and a science or food production subject OR (b) 3 years' performance in a government regulatory role, e.g. Local Authority Inspector or Environmental Health Officer To meet the criteria of APHA, the successful applicant will also need to be 18 years old Satisfactory DBS check Why join us? More About You This role would suit someone with hands on farming / livestock handling experience interested in diversifying careers. A true passion for the farm sector and ability to build strong bonds with our farming clients is necessary to be successful in this role. Shift pattern You will work 9 hour shifts across 4 days; Monday, Tuesday, Thursday Friday. With an unpaid lunch break included in the 9 hour day.
