Position Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Nursing Home Manager to lead our dedicated team of healthcare professionals. The Nursing Home Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of daily operations, ensuring the delivery of outstanding care to our residents, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:
* Provide strong leadership and guidance to the nursing and support staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
* Oversee the recruitment, training, and performance management of staff members, ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet resident needs.
* Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices in nursing home management.
* Monitor resident care plans and assessments, working closely with healthcare professionals to ensure individualized care and support.
* Maintain effective communication with residents, families, and external stakeholders, addressing any concerns or issues in a timely and compassionate manner.
* Manage the budget and financial resources of the nursing home, maximizing efficiency while maintaining high standards of care.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals and external agencies to coordinate medical services and support for residents.
* Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall resident experience and ensure continuous improvement in care delivery.
Qualifications:
* Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid nursing license in adult Nursing
* Previous experience in a leadership role within a nursing home or long-term care facility.
* Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in nursing home management.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
* Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, implement quality improvement initiatives, and drive operational excellence.
* Compassionate and empathetic approach to resident care, with a commitment to promoting their well-being and dignity.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to effectively prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
