The Role
:
As a Fire Alarm Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, constructing, and managing the maintenance of fire protection systems.
Responsibilities:
1. Confidently install, service, and maintain a variety of fire alarm systems, including conventional, wireless, and addressable units.
2. Perform installations and services for emergency lighting, access control systems, and smoke alarms.
3. Regularly maintain and repair fire protection equipment.
4. Deliver training to clients on the correct usage of fire protection systems.
Requirements:
5. Previously worked as a Fire Engineer or in a similar role.
6. Understanding of British fire safety standards.
7. Expertise in electrical systems relevant to fire safety integration.
8. Familiarity with building codes, regulatory standards, and industry benchmarks concerning fire safety.
9. Skilled in utilising power tools for installation and service tasks.
10. GCSE or equivalent qualifications would be preferred.
