Overview
The Senior Support Worker will deliver high‑quality, person‑centred support to individuals with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs in a supported living setting in Oadby. This permanent role offers a salary of £13.75 per hour and involves both hands‑on direct support and leadership responsibilities.
Main duties
Provide people‑centred care, promote choice, independence and inclusion, mentor staff, coordinate services and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
* Support three service users to live as independently as possible, focusing on daily living skills, communication, emotional regulation and decision‑making.
* Provide and coordinate care activities, including personal care, social outings, meal planning and budgeting.
* Maintain accurate records and report changes in health or circumstances to management.
* Guide and mentor staff, promote teamwork and provide leadership for safe, high‑standard service delivery.
* Work with families, carers and external professionals to ensure holistic support.
Working location
This full‑time role is based in our supported living service in Oadby, Leicestershire. The schedule includes shift‑based support and dedicated time for leadership and administrative duties.

What we require
* Minimum 12 months on your right to work in the UK.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Level 2 in Health and Social Care, and willingness to progress to Level 3.
