As an Assistant Management Accountant, you will report to a Finance Business Partner within the team and will be responsible for delivering a high-quality financial support, advice, and challenge service to operational frontline team.
What you’ll be doing:
* Supporting the Finance Business Partners with management of month end accounting processes including preparation of journals, forecasting, variance analysis, costings,
* Preparation and presentation of Management Information and other financial reports.
* Cost Analysis
* Revenue Analysis
* Management of the development of processes and financial analysis reporting to improve the business’s ability to monitor performance.
* Support with financial planning, including annual business plans.
* Support with other areas of the finance team as required, including, but not limited to, accounts receivables, accounts payable, bids, financial governance
What we’re looking for:
* Part-qualified or working towards an accountancy qualification, or qualified by experience. Qualification funding can be supported.
* Good management accounting experience
* Experience of working in close partnership with non-financial managers, providing management accounting advice, support and challenge
* Experience of working as part of a team and on own initiative with minimum supervision
* Effective interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to build sound working relationships.
* Use of standard IT packages such as Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (advanced).
* Previous experience using Netsuite (Oracle) and/or other finance systems.
