Salary: £90 - £110 per day (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are seeking a Nursery Teaching Assistant to join a warm and inclusive early years setting in Hucknall. This position starts from September 2025 and is ideal for individuals who are caring, proactive, and dedicated to the development and well-being of children aged 3-5.
Key Responsibilities for the Nursery TA:
* Provide high-quality support to nursery-aged children during learning and play.
* Assist the class teacher with daily routines, planning, and the delivery of activities.
* Support children's development across personal, social, emotional, and academic areas.
* Help maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
* Encourage language development, early literacy, and numeracy skills.
* Observe and record children's progress and contribute to planning and assessments.
Requirements for the Nursery TA:
* Experience working with nursery or early years children (desirable but not essential).
* A warm, patient, and caring personality with strong communication skills.
* A good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
* The ability to work effectively within a team and follow instruction.
* A recognised childcare qualification (such as Level 2 or 3 in Childcare or Early Years) is preferred but not essential.
* Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
